These plates are part of the collection owned by late but infamous Arkansas license plate collector, Mr. John Hefley. You are bidding on your choice of ONE of the above plate WITH the 1949 tab. We all know the 1949 tabs are tough so I decided to list the tab with both a truck and a passenger plate. Again, the high bidders get one or the other. The 1948 car plate is 279-298 and is rather rough. Lots of dents, dings, bends and scratches but does retain some original paint. No extra holes. The 1948 truck plate is 125-235 and is rated at 1 1/2 tons. It is rusty and would need to be blasted and painted. Still a tough plate to find. The tab is #16532 and was attached to the car plate when I purchased them. Shipping will be $4.00. Please take a look at my other auctions as I have several nice plates listed and will always combine the shipping costs. I would really like YOUR help in locating a 1911 Missouri Dealer license plate as well as a 1942 Missouri fiberboard TRAILER license plate. I will pay or trade VERY well for either of them. Thanks!! ALPCA #10128.
