A great set of 1949 Explorer scout dark green uniform. The set is; 1 long pants,1 long sleeve shirt w/collar & 2 short sleeve shirt w/V neck. Has no size measurement tags. The measurments are: Pants=30 " waist, 28 " in seam w/3 1/2 inch hem on cuffs. Long sleeve shirt=20" sleeve in-seam, 29" from shoulder to cuff tip. 14 1/2" neck, 16" across shoulders, 29" collar button to shirt tail hem. Short sleeve shirt appears to be the same size. Long sleeve shirt has a Valley Forge Jamboree patch over right pocket. 34" white military type belt and "solid brass" buckle. Scout kerchief. Canvass leggings Medium w/brass tie hooks. Overseas cap-medium. Also included are 2 short sleeve Explorer shirts. Inspection report check list of proper uniform and equipment. "Be Prepared" sew on patch. Rare National Jamboree Valley Forge 1950 "CHIEF OKEMOS COUNCIL-27 LANSING MICH. large sew on patch. A blank Jamboree Diary w/ Valley Forge B S A logo, w/ instructions. 1946 CAMP PELLISSIPPI camping patch. The pants have an secret zippered pocket inside the waist band for securing money etc. All the articles are "Official Boy Scouts of America National Council, New York City" and noticed also is; "This garments may be worn only by a registered member". All the items are in excellent condition, no fading, ripped or damage. All has been used but in great shape. All appear to be very clean but wrinkled from long storage.
