Swiss gold 20 francs “Helvetias” are one of the most popular European gold coins to own and are often considered to be among the loveliest. Helvetias are an excellent choice for bulk gold investors or collectors, looking for attractive, high quality, gold coins at lower prices. Lovely design, fascinating history The obverse of the Swiss Helvetia depicts “Vreneli,” the charming “Swiss Miss” of proverb, framed against the majestic Alps . In reference to this lovely portrait, Helvetias are sometimes called “Vrenelis.” The reverse has a radiant image of the traditional Swiss arms, featuring the famous Swiss cross, and the wreath of the Republic at the bottom. They also have an edge design of little stars all around the coin. That looks very nice when several are stacked. Swiss currency has never been devalued. Swiss gold coins, like these Helvetias, are cherished worldwide for their fine gold content and excellent minting. This type was issued from 1897 to 1935, then again in 1947 and 1949. The model for the portrait was Francoise Engli. Check the listing for the exact date and see the photos. You will receive the exact coin in the photograph as I take individual photos of every one I list. These are photographed in natural sunlight or with flash. My gold coins are some of the nicest you’ll find, making them an outstanding value in gold and one you will be proud to own! They are a completely private investment, so you can hold them discreetly without reporting when you buy or sell . For those of you that think t is any possibility the government might once again confiscate gold (you can include me) the answer is a semi-numismatic coin: all the gold you can get while still retaining the benefits of a rare coin. The Swiss 20 franc coins are non-reportable; nobody knows you own them unless you choose to say so. They were not confiscated in 1933 and will likely be spared confiscation in the future if that happens. Each 20 franc coin is .1867 troy ounces of gold, (5.8064 grams) so they are just shy of five coins to a troy ounce. If gold is confiscated again and if you manage to hang onto a one-ounce bullion coins like the Gold Eagle, or gold bars, they will only buy you items that cost a lot. The ounce of five 20 franc coins are divisible, portable, hideable and above all, spendable. I’ve invested in Swiss Francs for years and they are great coins to own. Each coin will come in the pictured self sealing air tight holder (no staples) made of archival materials, no PVC. The film over the coin is mylar. I am a member of NGC and I would call this coin brilliant uncirculated. I have hand picked out some of my nicest examples to sell. I have had many of these graded in the past by NGC and everyone of them has graded MS 63-65. If you are not happy with it, simply return it to me for a full refund. I think you will enjoy this coin very much. I only accept Paypal to confirmed addresses. I will ship these coins by priority U.S. Mail fully insured and signature required. I only ship to the continental US. Thanks for looking and goodluck! Phil
