This program is the annual Elks Rodeo and Frontier Parade in 1949. It is original and in excellent condition. T are 105 pictures including rodeo contestants and the queen and attendants for 1949. Pictures of Clinton Hill, winner of 3 events in 1948, Buddy Reger, clown, Miss Darlene Hill, queen, Rudy Nance and his band and on and on....T is also the daily program for that Sunday with scores peciled in for contestants in some of the events. On the back of this DAILY PROGRAM are listed all 148 contestants for the 4 day event. Anyone recognize these names? John Moates; Bud Hampton (I still rope in Leonard Hamptons arena in Dodge City, Bud's son) Dick Truitt; Fuzzy Garner; Jim Cobb; Lynn Beutler...the list is long. The announcer is Monte Reger, Beutler Bros. are stock contractors and the rodeo is billed as Toughest of them all.
