These 1950's vintage game used bats are getting tougher and tougher to find! This is a fantastic game used Louisville Slugger model M173 bat of 14 year major leaguer Eddie Miksis. This bat would have been used between the 1950 and 1958 seasons, most likely with the Brooklyn Dodgers or Chicago Cubs. Miksis would appear in two World Series, 1947 and 1949, both with the Brooklyn Dodgers. Miksis also spent some time with the Cardinals, Orioles, and Reds to finish up his career. It exhibits great signs of use with ball marks, stitch marks, bat rack marks, cleat marks, and some light deadwood at the back of the barrel. This bat is not cracked. This bat weighs 32.5 ounces, measures 34" in length and matches Miksis's factory records. Letter of Authenticity from the experts at MEARS of Milwaukee.
