This auction consists of a 6 piece set of vintage, 1950s, unused steak knives by Carvel Hall, Chas. D. Biddell, Inc. in original hard plastic chest/case. Also included are 3 cardboard knife sheaths, Registration Card and Care Leaflet. Knives feature Silver Overlay on handles, Chrome-Vanadium Surgical Steel, Chrome Plated, "Hot-Water-Proof" Lustrex Handles which never fade or discolor. Carvel Hall blades are Microned--made of the finest, high carbon, chrome vanadium cutlery steel, hollow-ground and honed to a microscopic, razor edge. Blades are scientifically tempered to hold these keen edges for a long, long time. Knives are in excellent condition. No stains or damage. Each knife measures 8 1/2" long. The clear plastic lid to the chest has some scratches and a crack at one corner of the lid. A beautiful set! Buyer to pay exact shipping cost. I do NOT charge handling fees. Thanks for looking!
