Here is a very unusual OFFSET ERROR on a Series of 1950-A $5 FEDERAL RESERVE NOTE, KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI, DISTRICT, with B.E.P. Rejection tape still attached. There is a large offset print of the bottom of the back all along the bottom of the face of the note. Very impressive! To top it off, the note was marked for rejection at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing with red tape at right margin, but somehow not only managed to get into circulation, but also remained on the note through considerable usage! From my personal collection of over 20 years. A most eye-appealing error! Very desirable! Serial #J41860375A. Treasury signatures of Priest and Humphrey. NO pinholes or tears. You will like this note!
