Amazing Vintage Mexican Green Stone and Silver Flowers Ring. Old Taxco School , ca. 1950’s. The design of this ring is really beautiful and you would not find another piece like this. This amazing piece was all hand crafted. It carries the tradition of years of silver work like that of the workshops of Taxco in Mexico . It is known that the silver of Taxco is internationally recognized for its purity and extraordinary artistic qualities. In all the workshops, silversmith was almost entirely done by hand. This ring has one cabochon green stone set on the center of it and surrounded by torched wire. The ring also has seven silver flowers cut out of a silver sheet and detailed by repousse. These flowers are disposed around the central cabochon and were soldered to the base. All the pieces were made separately and soldered together over an oval silver base. It’s a really beautiful piece you have to look at. A great amount of time was invested in creating this unique piece. It measures: 1 ½ X 1 3/8 in. It is size: 6 but you can open or close it to make it bigger or smaller. Unfortunately it is not marked, but we warrantee it to be made of the materials already described. It weights: 17 gr. Look at the photos so you can detail it. This piece is in excellent vintage condition, it has only some minor surface scratches and dents common
