Up for your consideration is this freshly restored RCA J-3 45 rpm record changer. The J-3 was only offered in 1950 and is the rarest of RCA's attachment units. Originally designed to play records through a radio equipped with a phono input, this unit does not have an internal amplifier or speaker. It has been updated and is ready to provide excellent high fidelity playback through the magnetic phono input of your amplifier. The tonearm, turntable, and spindle have the original factory gold finish with only a few minor flaws. The original vinyl platter mat was missing, so I have installed a custom red felt mat that looks great and really protects your records during record change cycles. The motor and entire mechanism have been disassembled, cleaned, lubricated, and adjusted for like-new performance. The rebuild includes a new idler for smooth, accurate speed... no flutter or wobbles in the sound at all. Record changes are fast and dependable.
