1950-S ROOSEVELT DIME GEM UNCIRCULATED Actual Coin You Will Receive This coin is in Pristine Condition and will grade at least MS66. It is one of the 3 key date Roosevelts. I have had these coins for years in paper rolls I bought in the late 80's. I finally opened some of my Roosevelt rolls to look through. I was amazed at the condition of some of the coins in the rolls I opened. I have numerous MS66, MS65 and several MS67's in the 50-S, 49, & 46-S that I have opened thus far. How do I grade these: 1. I use the book " The Authoritative Reference on Roosevelt Dimes" by Kevin Flynn. 2. I have a stereo microscope that magnifies at 10X and 30X, graders use 8X. 3. I have a complete Roosevelt collection in slabs from NGC all graded MS66. I scope each coin and grade per the reference book at 10X. If the coin looks to be an MS66 or better I then compare it to the same coin with the same date that has been slabed and graded by NGC. If it looks at least as good as the graded coin or better I call it MS66. Additionally I happen to have a PCGS 50-S MS67 and this coin looks as good as that one does.
