VINTAGE 1950'S ALFREDO BARBINI BLUE & GOLD AVENTURINE SHELL BOWL. Measures: 12" Length and 4,75" high. This auction is for a Murano Barbini shell comprised of gold aventurine and bullicante over lattimo, cased in light blue covered in gold aventurine. This bowl is stunning and shimmers with all of the gold aventurine which has been used. I have been collecting for over twenty five years. Over the past few months I have acquired a large collection of over 3000 pieces. Many of these pieces came from mom and pop antique stores. Condi tion: Perfect !!! No damage including chips, cracks, repairs or impact marks. A flaw is a defect, visible mark or inclusion in the glass, from the factory, and includes air bubbles, straw lines, unevenness, and variations in color. Damage is a chip, crack, impact mark, scratch, or repair. Shipping: Weight is 5.5 pounds. If the shipping calculator is not working, you can go to and add two pounds in the shipping calculator and my zip code, 78233, for an estimate of the freight. The addition of two pounds is necessary for double boxing and the safe packaging of this rare piece. Exact freight will be calculated after packaging, and unlike some, I am not out to make extra money Insurance: All sales will require full insurance, and only rarely can they be combined because of the fragility of the glass.
