Vintage American Bisque Pottery Baby Elephant Cookie Jar Item Description: Up for auction is a beautiful vintage American Bisque cookie jar manufactured during the 1950s. American Bisque was established in Williamtown, WV and is most noted for their figural cookie jars. This cookie jar is in the Baby Elephant form and can be referenced in Warman's Cookie Jars book pg. 26. The cookie jar is hand-painted with nice vivad colors and it has a glossy brush glaze overtop.
