Hello and thanks for looking. Up for auction is a really nice American Flyer – Gilbert made - #642 box car in really nice – exceptionally nice – condition especially considering the age. The original Gilbert box included (a little worn but still serving purpose – see picture). I am kind of impressed what condition this piece is in – I deal with trains only a little and this one is a nice piece – look at the reflection in the plastic – not a repaint or redo – all original and very light use. As for shipping – I apologize if it seems high but USPS is on crack lately – the prices are going up, first class packages are no longer available and the “postage select” service that replaced it is 90% of priority if you aren’t sending a postcard. I sincerely do not try to make money on postage and I estimate I am breaking even (not including packaging costs) on postage.
