This is a late 1940's or early 1950' Vendolator 149. The machine is all original including the paint. My friend gave this machine to me after his father past away. The machine had been sitting in his business wharehouse since the 1960's. He was in the construction business. Appearently, someone in the whareouse removed the internal bottle rack from the inside, so they could use it as a beer fridge. That is the story I got anyway. The machine is real nice without any rusty rotting metal. T is some surface rust and t though. The machine DOES RUN AND GET ICE COLD. The machine has been in my garage for 10 years and I have been using it as a fridge to cool bottles. The coin mechanism is still t It is a rare coin changer type accepting 5,10 and 25 cents. The change flag is t, but broken and the door lock is missing in addtion to the previously mentioned 149 count bottle rack. The machine is covered in dents and scratches and has never been cleaned. The machine does come with a reproduction manual. This machine is huge, as big as a modern fridge. The machine would be perfect for a static display or for a garage fridge. It does have a great deal of potential. T is a screw type handle to close and seal the door tight and it works very well. The buyer is responsible for all shipping arrangemnts and costs incurred. I am willing to call a local delivery company I know to take it to Forward Air Shipping in Miami. They have been under $100.00 in the past. I will cover the machine in Cardboard and shrink wrap. IT IS BEST TO PICK THIS MACHINE UP. IT IS ABOUT 250+LBS. Machine is located in Fort Lauderdale
