For your consideration is an outstanding hand carved full body gnome or elf Black Forest German nutcracker - 8" tall. He is expertly hand carved and hand painted - has NOT been used - only displayed. He stands on his own. I believe it is from the 1950's - direct from Germany. I purchased at a local estate sale -little German woman that had this tucked away in a display cabinet. The only flaw I see is a dowel on the side of his right arm is sticking out - not sure it was ever flush - but I have shown it is the last photo. It is out approximately 1/16". I do not see any other damage . Check out my other items ! Be sure to add me to your favorites list !
