This vintage strapless dress dates from the 1950s. It is made of a pale blue, embroidered chiffon and matching tulle and is fully lined with a pale lilac fabric that is thin and silky. The tightly fitting bodice has stays sewn into each side of the front and back. There is a metal zipper in the left side seam. There is no label remaining. The skirt is very full and could be worn with a crinoline if desired. It is in very good condition with no stains. I found one pencil head sized hole in the tulle near the bottom edge of the dress but it is very hard to find. There are also several small slits in the tulle along th bottom edge, but they are also hard to find and not noticeable. The measurements are: bust - 34 inches; waist - 23 inches; waist to hem - 33 inches.
