For your consideration today is this duo of like new, vintage 1950's Caterpillar dealers advertising material, that includes a neat D4 Diesel foldout brochure, plus a dandy comic book style booklet called Power Farming, both issued from the Ziegler company out of Minneapolis, Minnesota.This is a great looking set of items that are just loaded with super, bright colors, they are both from around 1952 or close to that for the D4 item, they are both from the William H. Ziegler Company out of Minneapolis, Minnesota, the Diesel advertising piece is one that shows the Caterpillar Diesel D4 Tractor on one side when folded down, that measures 8.5" wide by 5.5" tall, then opens to be 11" tall and shows some Cats in action, then folds out more to 17" wide that shows use in logging, general use, earthmoving and farming, then opens upwards to reveal a grand display of the D4 Caterpillar along with all the specifications and info, now measuring almost 22" tall by 17" wide. Really a dandy show piece when opened like a poster, with just a touch of handling or storage wear that is very minimal, and one tiny hole at a crease fold corner that is nothing much at all. Quite a very clean, glossy item!! The second item is just like a comic book format, but features a Caterpillar in all kinds of action or work, the item is titled Power Farming with Caterpillar Diesel Farm Tractors and dated 1952, it is 24 pages long including the front and back covers and measures 10.75" tall by 8.25" wide, it has 102 scenes or boxes with a picture during the story, it has one crease in the lower left corner on the back side, then a crease in the upper right corner of the first few pages, but other than that, this is one super cleam item that is so clean and like new in condition overall.
