For your consideration.... 12 piece Light Up Creche Nativity Set from 1950's ***Made in Italy*** Included: Mary, Joseph, Baby Jesus, 3 Wisemen, Sheppard, Angel, 4 Barn Animals and Stable. Largest piece (Sheppard) measures approx. 6 1/4" H and the smallest piece (Mary) measures approx. 5" H. The wood stable measures approx. 13 1/2" H x 12" L - part of it folds up for easier storage. T is a light through the back of the stable wall (plugs into an outlet) which creates a beautiful setting. I do not believe these pieces are made of wood - but I can not tell you for sure what they are made of - resin? These pieces appear to be in excellent condition considering their age. After carefully examing the pieces I did find a chip on Joseph's chin. I had to look a few times before I noticed it. In my opinion, the chip is not substantial enough to alter Joseph's appearance. I did not find any chips or repairs on the other pieces. On the top of the stable t is a green felt which has come loose around the edges (as seen in picture). I assume this can be easily refastened. The star hanging from the stable is a silver bow - I don't believe this is an original piece? The set belonged to my grandmother who took excellent care of it. She was the original owner and purchased it in the mid 50's at St. Paul's Religous store in downtown Cleveland.
