1950s Giant Golden Book DOGS CATS & HORSES Rojankovsky � illus. 61 stories HC vtg children's The Giant Golden Book of Dogs, Cats and Horses 61 Stories and Poems * 170 Illustrations in Full Color ~ by Elizabeth Coatsworth ~ With Three Stories by Kate Barnes ~ Pictures by Feodor Rojankovsky ~ © Copyright 1957, 1953 by Simon and Schuster, Inc. ~ SIMON AND SCHUSTER New York ~ 699 ~ B 295295 This 124-page vintage 1950s children's oversized hardcover book measures approx. 12.75 x 9.5 inches and is in overall average used condition. The cover is worn at the corners and spine ends, there is a tear at the top end of the spine (see pic for close-up pic). Some of the plastic coating has come off the cover, there is some staining to the cover, it looks like maybe there were bubbles underneath the coating. There is a price sticker on the back. Book is well bound and the pages are in good condition, page nine has been torn and repaired with tape. Bright vividly colored Rojankovsky drawings of many kinds of dogs, cats, and horses, as well as people and other animals. The illustrations are wonderful!
