New York: Richard Rosen Assoc. Inc 1952. Ringbound. Stiff pink card covers, printed in black. Housed in pink card box. A fine copy. A collection of cocktail recipes. This volume 1, first published in 1952, and later volume 2, published in 1957, were best-sellers and book shelf favourites during the 1950s. Finding the true first editions in tact in quite good condition is not easy. With it comes a card which lists books published by Richard Rosen and a Trader Vic's, 20 Cosmo Place, San Francisco, California.Cocktail card for Trader Vic Daiquiri. Victor Jules Bergeron, Jnr opened Trader Vic's 1951. 20 Cosmo Place in San Francisco. The chain of restaurants grew and is credited as one of the first successful themed chains, a marketing model that many other restaurants followed. In good condition for age and use. The Trader Vic,s card was inside the box of recipes. The Pink Elephant Recipes is in quite good condition. All pages are there. Some wear and marks and the box lid the two front corners are split. This is expected from age and use. Hence low reserve. I am downsizing my collectables. Thanks for looking and good luck if you bid.
