I am offering this very nice Heywood Wakefield writing desk in Wheat color. This 24" x 49 1/2" x 30"- desk has a plate glass top to cover the surface & can be used to display photos, calendars, memorbilia, etc.under the glass. The glass is in good condition-no chips or cracks. On the RIGHT side of the desk is (3) drawers -14" x 6 1/2" each. On the LEFT side this desk has the appearance of (3) drawers but t are really TWO. Top drawer same as RIGHT side drawer measurement. The bottom drawer is (looks like two) -14" x 15". Heywood Wakefield emblem & words is printed in the drawer along the side panel. I could not find any printing on the BACK of the desk.T is a TOP drawer that extends the FULL width of the desk. This drawer has two dividers inside the drawer. Measurement is- 49 1/2" x 4 1/2". T are two MINOR marks in the middle outside front of the TOP drawer. The rest of the desk I would consider in good condition with only MINOR scratches. I am selling this desk & DRESSER(see other auction) with PICK-UP ONLY or BUYER provide shipping arrangements. Closest largest city is Fort Dodge,Iowa that is about 20 miles south of my location.I have taken several photos & they all seem to be somewhat blurry. The desk & dresser look much BETTER than the photos show. Reasonable starting bid or Buy It Now. Good pieces of Heywood Wakefield furniture are getting harder to find. Good Luck!
