Hula Girl Figurine You are bidding on a very cute Hawaiian Hula Girl figurine front the 1950's. Made in Japan by Kreiss & Comapny, Japan, the figurine has a wonderful cartoony design and is wearing a pink dress. She is made of ceramic/porcelain and has a cold-glaze finish. Unfortunately, this means she also has the typical color loss and paint flakes of cold-glaze pieces. She measures about 8 1/8" tall and weighs 6 oz (172 grams). She has the original JAPAN paper label on the bottom, and is stamped Kreiss. & Co. Besides the paint loss, she is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips, breaks, scratches or other damage.
