Offered for auction is an adorable vintage porcelain ceramic gnome elf from the mid 1950's. Generously sized and very nicely detailed with great coloring. Base is inscribed/dated ' 57 as shown in second photo. The hatted gnome in a seated position measures 8" tall; base is 5" wide. A wonderful old collectible that is in remarkably good original condition considering its fifty-one year old age with no chips, cracks or other damage.
