Up for auction is this great solid walnut top desk. We have actually had this desk once before and were sure it was custom built but we have another so thats obviously not the case. The piece appeared custom because of the care to detail and quality of construction that was and is shown throughout this remarkable piece.A solid hand rubbed finish, walnut top consisting of multiple boards, displays the grain of the wood in a very dramatic way. The tapered legs with brass supports have an elegant and effective part of the design of this piece. A unassuming three drawer cabinet will provide all the storage necessary for ones things.Very much in the style of Nakashima, this high quality American desk would make an excellent additon to any mid-century enviroment. Piece measures: 30" deep 60" long 28" tallCondition: Excellent vintage condition. One small impression to top and a small nick to lowest drawer [ see pics] Only noticeable upon close inspection and easily addressed if felt necessary.
