For auction is a original popcorn vending machine-used to dispense hot popcorn - NOT MAKE POPCORN. The machine, originally selling popcorn for 10 cents, is in good vintage condition for its age - ready for a little restoration. Label on back reads "Cebco Gold Medal Automatic Popcorn Vendor-Serial No.2711 120 volts, 150 watts 50-60 cycles. Model No.100. Sold by Cebco Products Company, Inc., 308 E.McClure Ave., Peoria 4, Ill USA". Front decals, in good condition, read: 1. Insert Coin 2. Remove Bag 3. Lift Up (chute to fill bag) It is constructed of a maroon painted metal base with a clear plastic viewing area which holds the heated popcorn. Entire unit measures apprx. 61" tall. Base measures apprx. 17" x 16". Clear acrylic holder has a frame of apprx. 21" x 22" and is apprx. 14" tall (part of the total height of 61"). Two rear wheels protrude from back apprx. 3". Coin mechanism accepts 1 dime or 2 nickels. Electric, heater and bulb work as well as coin mechanism. Original keys included. T is surface rust around base, close to the floor, (perhaps from floor cleaning?) more on one side then the others - it is surface rust - not into the metal.
