We don't take Paypal. is a toy sewing machine made in the USA by Hassenfeld Bros (Hasbro) of Pawtucket, R.I. Toy is made of red and cream plastic. It measures 6-1/2" long x 2-3/4" wide x about 5-3/4" high. The instructions are included, they are marked Hassenfeld, machine is marked Necchi in several places, and also Supernova. The Necchi Supernova is/was a real sewing machine. This toy works by hand crank. It appears to be in working condition. No bobbin is necessary, it does a simple chain stitch only. Wheel spins smoothly, needle goes up & down, and feed dog moves properly. T's a cream colored button on one side that has no function, on a real machine it would be the tension dial, this little button has a crack. The machine has 4 rubber suction cup feet. Toy needs a good cleaning. Instructions have a stain. We believe it is from the 1950's. Selling with no reserve, buyer pays shipping. Check our seller's list for vintage kidstuff and more!
