This is a pretty cool style airplane that features a storage area under the main part so that you could put toy soldiers inside or other equipment necessary for battle. The toy measures 12.75" long overall, it is 16" wide, and about 3.25" tall. ~~The plane has a number of good parts as well as things that show wear or damage. The one main part that is damaged is the front plastic cone or nose as one side has part of the bottom missing. From there, most seems to be sound overall, the back, top side is missing the small upright fins, but really not sure if there is another part or more missing, or missing things issued with it when new, so the toy is sold as is . BE SURE TO CHECK OUT THE PICTURES CLOSELY AS THE DO SHOW THE TOY VERY WELL!! ~~The plane has a very good friction motor that seems to be pretty tight inside, it did not slip when turning it a number of times, but sure it needs some lube to help keep it rolling more. It does turn one propeller on the right very well, but the spring is dettached on the left prop so that needs some work. The connected spring seems very good, the other side is there and has a small bend in it, but sure seems like it would work if connected. The propellers are both in good shape with all the blades, there are some minor bends and loss of luster, but pretty nice to have them intact. There are spring loaded buttons under the wings that seem to act like a hesitation thing for the working prop, but really not sure on the exact purpose or if working as they should. ~~The plastic cone is ok on the left side and has some stress lines and wear to it, the other half looks good from the top or side with normal wear, but the bottom third or less is missing. The markings and printing on the plane is still pretty nice overall, of course has some normal wear and ageing, but still displays well. The fuselage is still pretty good overall, it does have a small dent at the top and one dent with scratch on the left in the Pack Plane letters, but remains tight, there is an area of paint loss at the front, left corner, the rest is normal wear and tear with scratches and scuffs, but still looks good for its age. Again, be sure to look at the photo's! ~~The right wing is pretty straight, while the left one has a soft bend and pushed in spot on the top, but nothing that is very serious at all. The two sections that run along side the main fuselage are both very good with no dents that are more than just a tiny thing, and the tail unit with fins remains straight as well. The finish for the rest of the plane has one bad spot on the left, rear area where there is some rust, but nothing that is weak or tin missing. There is a lot of wear on the top sides, lots of scratches, etc, but still more good finish than wear for sure. ~~The main drive wheels are still sound but show normal wear, the smaller wheels are both good, both of the brackets for the small wheels remain in very good shape and still attached well. There are a lot of neat parts and features to this plane, and it still has excellent display even with the wear and tear from being over 50 years old. Believe you will like it well if you are the winning bidder!! ~~ We thank you for checking out this neat tin airplane, and be sure to check out our other items as we always combine items won, with at or near exact cost shipping ! International Buyers: We do ask that you wait ...
