Advertising "Planters Peanuts" String Holder (Chalkware âe" 1950s) Up for auction with NO RESERVE is this very collectible âeoePlanters Cocktail Peanutsâe String Holder . It is made of chalk and was produced in the 1950s. It measures 6âe in height and it marked on the bottom with "Registered Mr. Peanut" (See photo below). Mr. Peanuts arm serves also as a "Scissors Holder". T is a place in the back for a ball of twine. It is in very good to excellent condition having no chips, cracks or repairs. It does have some crazing & wear due to age and use. It has hung in my smoke free home for nearly 25 years. This came out of an estate in Grand Saline, Texas back in the early 1980s.
