Vintage 1950's Matson Gold Plate Mirror Tray. Beautiful oval tray with Daisy flowers around the perimeter. The Handles are raised flowers with cut out leaves and other ornate details. The backside is covered in a deep purple velour. The backside is marked C. Matson and numbers 357. Matson made gold plated vanity sets in the 1950 and 60's and usually had a sticker indicating the gold plate. This piece is very obvious gold plated by the gorgeous sheen and layers of gold. Excellent condition, one small spot on the backside edge w the velvet is smudged. One of the flowers on one side of the mirror is gone. T are 4 on one side and 3 on the other. Also has a hanger to hang on the wall if you choose. The mirror is wonderful, clear with no marks. The edging has X's with half Daisies. Wonderful vintage mirror in desirable condition and glamour. Measures 20 inches long and 10 3/4 inches across. Weighs 2 pounds and 11 ounces. THANKS FOR LOOKING
