TAXI CAB LIGHTED SIGN - METAL AND MILK GLASS - VINTAGE 1940-50s

It has a couple teeny flea bites on one end- see photos - that do not show when the lamp's end are in place. No cracks, scratches, chips or rust. The "TAXI" paint is bright and 100% intact. This could have been at a taxi station or sat on the top of a taxi cab. No mention of cab company. The ends that house the lighting system are each marked ANTHES 614. The wiring is old as are the light bulbs. The posts that the lamp rests on have springs and hinges. Probably made so that the bulbs could be accessible. The lamps measures approximately 8.75" long x 4.25" high. The old wiring length measures about 5.5". We have no idea if they work.
