This auction isfor FOUR vintage “dime store” toy cars on their original rack card—believethese are circa about 1956, based on the car models; they are new-old-stock, never used! The card reads “#104 unbreakable Car Assortment; Made of Polyethylene—the new popular soft plastic; Sanitary. . .Washable; Manufactured by Processed Plastic Company; Aurora, Illinois”, original price was 39 cents for the set. Included in the set are a green ’56 Nomad/station wagon, a red ‘56 Chevy flat bed truck, a red Cadillac convertible and a blue Caddy with red top (also both probably 1956 models); the cars have one-piece axles with tire sets which snap into place on the bases; vehicles are roughly 1 ½” wide x 3 ¾” long; all are in very good condition with very little signs of shelf wear.
