Here is a nifty Japan made tin windup MONKEY BASKETBALL PLAYER made by TPS and marketed by Cragstan. The richly colored tin lithograph toy features a monkey with a litho jeersey and shorts who flips a tin lithpgraphed basketball through a real mesh hoop. the genius of japanese tin toys allows the ball to come back to the moneky and he flips the ball into the basket just like a pro! STARS and the number 7 are litho'd on the back of the moneky's jersey. the box is bright and colorful, it is a tad misshapen and reflects some shewlf wear but it displays quite well. this neat 1950s vintage Japanese made TPS cragstan windup basketball playing monkey will make a great addition to your vintage tin windup mechanical sports toy collection.
