Big sound - Slingerland Radio King 6.5 X 14 snare drum. This is an original mid 1950’s brass badge black diamond pearl drum with Radio King clam shell strainer, single flange chrome rims, solid birdseye maple shell, 16 beavertail lugs and early “Snappy Snare” wires. The pearl wrap is shiny and clean with no cracks but typically darker than original. The chrome has the usual pitting but again no cracks or structural problems. There are two extra holes probably drilled for a mounting bracket (see photo). Overall this is nice early Radio King snare drum with great sound and ready to play.
