~Older Reversable Taxco, Mexican Necklace ~ Malachite, Tiger's Eye & Silver Circa: 1950's... Assumed... LATER TODAY I WILL ADD MORE NECKLACE INFORMATION...FOUND OUT IT HAS A MIS STAMP...(WAS DOUBLE STAMPED) AND have to find more info on this nice necklace...Looked like the Spratling script W but it is a double OO worn...Look for info later today or tonight...THANKYOU.. This is a wonderful and different Taxco Silver, Malachite and Tigers Eye REVERSABLE (flip-over/wear it both way) Necklace.... Measuring approx 17 1/2" 9 Paddles or Cascabeles, longest center one measuring 44mm's Beads measure 6mms..Not being a real expert on all the many great designers and makers of the mexico mid--century and arts and crafts jewelry era...but have some knowledge, will give you all the information I have gatd...and define it to the best of my knowledge... From the reading of many web-sites that have a lot of information...could come up with my own opinion of who and approx. time it was made...Hope it will help...Please...if anyone has any information that would help get a more exact time period to please email me and willl post it in this auction...Marks on both parts of the clasp (see 2 photos)...The "Eagle" mark or shield is on the small part of clasp and has the number "1" in the center... with some very tiny stamping under it that would have read more
