This is a super rare hand made studio pottery wall plaque of a fish, this is such a retro looking plaque, great colours in a super heavy glaze this is such a tactile plaque. It was produced in the early 1950s by WYE and modeled by Adam Dworski which is signed on the back. These plaques must have been collected by the privileged few as the price on the back is priced 45- shillings old money which would be £2.25p these days, that would have been nearly a weeks wage back then. The condition for the age and materiel is good, the edges are ragged that is how is is supposed to look, there are some small glaze nips and glaze crazing one corner looks to have had a knock hard to tell. This displays very well and is a rare item to find these days.International bidders welcome.Airmail Europe £8.42.
