This auction is for an older Yixing teapot. The circa is the 1950's. This is a very special teapot ~ the maker is a famous Chinese and the teapot is marked.

The teapot was taken out of China during the early 80s. It has been carefully stored in my warehouse for over 25 years. The teapot has never been used and in mint condition.

This particular teapot was a set aside for so many years because of the unique Mastery. This was a part of a private collection.

The unique and superb old Master's work on this teapot can not be described. So much better than the pictures!!

The teapot is made from the unique Yixing clay. Yixing clay is known for absorbing the delicate flavor of tea, seasoning the pot, and greatly improving the taste of each pot of tea! The word on the outside of the pot is referred to as applique. The fine workmanship is very evident.

This is a highly collectible Yixing teapot and is starting at a ridulous price! Never used!! Mint condition!!

The teapot measures 6-1/2" spout to handle, 4-7/8" high and 4-7/8" bottom diameter.
