1951 MONARK SUPER DELUXE BOY'S 26" In my opinion, this is one of the fanciest bikes ever made. 1951 was the second year for this style Monark. It is one of my favorite riding bikes. The paint color of this bike is the dark red/light red combination and this is the ORIGINAL paint. It does have some scratches, and some surface rust. A few small dents at the rear fender. But overall good to be original and 56 years old. It has the big deep fenders and a N.O.S. rocket at the front of the train headlight. The seat is in very good condition as are the original red handlegrips. The chrome is mostly good also, the rims are nice with a good set of Carlisle w/w tires. The pedals are Persons. I have owned this bike for about 7 years. This bike will be shipped in two (2) boxes and shipping and insurance will run $85.00. Please check my other auctions as I will be listing more bikes and parts. After 27 years of buying and selling bikes am paring down my collection as I have other interest.
