For your consideration is a very nice 1951 Vintage Singer Sewing Machine in the original wooden carring case, base & owners manual.This is the Model 99-13 Singer - in addition it is also the "CENTENNIAL 1851-1951 EDITION" - see pict # 5. This was the 100th anniversary & the Serial No. EG396613 dates it to 1951 - see pict # 5 & 6 - which shows the Serial No. & the Blue & Gold Plaque denoting the Centennial Edition. This auction includes the original wood base and "Bentwood" Case - there is a small area of damage to the lid - see pict #8, but the remainder of the case/base are in perfect condition. The original key is still with the machine. This Singer Sewing Machine is in excellent condition - it shows very little wear anywhere. One of the features I especially like is shown in pict # 3 - the engraving is spectacular. I don't know if the machine was made in Great Britain or the USA or 1/2 x 1/2? The top of the machine is clearly marked Great Britain, but the motor shows made in Elizabeth, NJ, USA - SIMANCO. I don't know what "SIMANCO" stands for unless it is Singer Manufacturing Co, but it is stamped in various locations on the machine.
