Very rare and hard to find From Scotch Whisky Site: WHEN AVAILABLE SELLS FOR $400.00 PLUS FROM SPECIALTY STORES GLEN GRANT 1952 An extremely old Glen Grant, bottled in 1996 from fresh sherry casks. Gordon & Macphail's Tasting Notes
Undiluted Nose: Sherry notes with polished leather aromas. Some herbal and earthy notes. Hints of fresh fruits and particularly bananas. Palate: Smoky/phenolic initially followed by sherry and earthy flavours. Diluted Nose: Sweet phenolic aromas combine floral and leather notes. The sherry and oak aromas slowly develop. Palate: Fruitcake with oily/smoky flavours. Slightly salty. Finish: Sherry with an oily texture. . Very rare and hard to find Per Ebay Rules: The value of the item is in the collectable container, not its contents. The container has not been opened, but any incidental contents are not intended for consumption. The item is not available at any retail outlet, and the container has a value that substantially exceeds the current retail price of the alcohol in the container Bidders must be aware that they are to be of legal age to purchase alcohol in respective country of residence.
