Overview This beautiful ladiesRolex Oyster Manual Wind is in excellent condition. Dating from 1952, the solid steel case is in excellent condition with only the most minor signs of wear. The original Rolex signed crisp white dial has been professionally refinished to the highest possible standard and wonderfully elegant. The steel 'shark tooth' hour batons with Arabic numbers at the quarters blend perfectly with the steel dauphine hands and gleaming case. The outer minute ring is as crisp as the day it was made and it's signed 'Rolex Oyster'. The high grade Rolex signed 17 jewel 'Precision' movement has just been fully serviced by my professional watchmaker. The watch sits on a genuine Rolex 'rivet' bracelet which again is in excellent condition. I'd be happy to put a leather strap on if required. This very special watch comes complete with a new, high quality, presentation box. I have used a 1970′s Rolex box and I do sell these for £125 or £85 if you buy a watch – please contact me for availability. My asking price is below the value for a watch of this condition and rarity, particularly with the continual rise in value of vintage watches of this high quality. In view of the high grade Swiss movement, I will include a three month written guarantee on the movement, which is long enough for you to assess the working order. Also, I offer a full refund if you are not entirely happy, as long as the watch is returned within seven days for the UK, twelve days if overseas, in the same condition. The Case The crisp, solid steel case is in excellent condition, with only the smallest signs of wear. Measuring 23mm wide, excluding the original Rolex signed winding crown and 30mm, including the lugs. The inside back is signed ‘Rolex Geneva Swiss Patented’ and has the case reference of ’5004′. The Dial The extremely beautiful Rolex signed crisp white dial is in excellent condition with perfectly straight steel dauphine hands and raised shark's tooth hour batons with Arabic numbers at the quarters. It is signed ‘Rolex Oyster’ and the lens shows no signs of wear or scratching. The Movement The high-grade Rolex signed 17 jewel 'Precision' manual wind movement is in excellent condition and is signed ‘Rolex Precision’, ‘17 Rubies’, 'Patented Super Balance' and ’Swiss’. The movement has just been fully serviced by my professional watchmaker and is in excellent working order. The Bracelet This delicious Rolex sits on a steel ‘Rivet’ Rolex signed bracelet. The Conclusion A lovely and classically elegant vintage watch from one of horology’s most famous names. This piece is full of charm and elegance and will, if history is any judge, provide an excellent financial investment as well as a possession to treasure and enjoy. I will provide an insurance valuation in excess of my asking price.
