IF YOU LOVE THE WHIMSICAL, THE UNIQUE, THE UNUSUAL, you will LOVE this FOLK ART HOUSE - It is Colorful, made from 1952 Magazines,our Seller has had this piece in his Collection since 1990. (and we have the original sales receipt for it, which is included). SO DIFFERENT, YOU CAN'T REMOVE YOUR EYES FROM IT!!! Top (has hinged opening) has individually applied "shingles". Front of House has Two Windows, which have red fabric "curtains", Recessed Front Door (with Belsnickle); On the side is a chimney, HOUSE is intricately hand-crafted to simulate a Log Cabin. OPEN the hinged top and startling colors of Flowers! Inside is your own personal garden - poppies, peonies, roses, lillies, mums all in vibrant colors. This is truly one-of-a-kind. The original sales slip was dated 1990 and the original price $65.00. The approx measurements: 8-1/2" wide, 7-1/4" high, 7-1/4" deep. Wonderful, artistic Piece and could be displayed just about anywhere!! Condition: expected aging to paper and some expected curls and tears. Be sure to ask questions prior to bidding.
