Woody Herman's career as a musician, vocalist, and one of the all-time great big band leaders spanned over 50 years. He formed a number of bands which showcased young talent during, as this 1952 concert at Nebraska's Terrytown Arena advertised Herman with "his Greatest Band" - most likely the Third Herd, a band he toured at that time. Herman made enormous contributions to big band in his career, playing jazz festivals, Carnegie Hall, and even opening for Led Zeppelin at the Fillmore East in 1969!This original poster, measuring 14 1/8" x 22", is on thick cardboard similar to other boxing style posters. It is in mint condition with no holes, rips, or creases. There is a small amount of spotting along the bottom border, but is very minimal.
