VERY RARE! *** $195.95 Recently acquired from the estate of an old hobby dealer who closed his hobby store down in the early 1970s. ORIGINAL Dealer only wholesale price catalog. This is one of the catalogs which was used to order toys/crafts to stock his store back in the 1950s. This is NOT a retail catalog! Only the store owner had access to these catalogs for ordering wholesale for their store or for special orders for customer. As a result, few of these catalogs survived as they were to be thrown away when the newest catalog was supplied to the store dealer! This makes this catalog very rare indeed!! The catalog is from "Haw-Ki Hobby" out of Davenport, Iowa. This is the "Dealers Catalog 1953-54". Most all major lines of toys and hobby supplies are represented in the catalog! AND they are fully illustrated!! This makes this catalog invaluable for identification of those old vintage toys you may have and are trying to research!!! * Fully Illustrated in color and b/w * Comb binding, 112 illustrated pages plus color sections(approx. 25 pages) for a total of approx. 137 pages plus a dealer discount sheet at back. Also included is a laid in sheet/pricelist for Gilbert American Flyer trains. INDEXED! Stiff printed stock covers. 8 3/4" x 11". A few of the pages have small sections cut out probably by the original owner. Wonderful color sections featuring HERKIMER, BURGESS BATTERY, CENTAUR PRODUCTIONS! Others brands and toys represented: Atlas, Austin Craft, Monarch, Testors, Monogram, Comet, Master Modelcraft, Ideal, Aero Gloss, Globe, Strombecker, Athearn, and MANY, MANY others!!
