Maybe the most beautiful set of cards ever created is for sale in VG-Ex condition. All of the key cards are only missing a couple stars listed below. I have been trying to complete this set for years and am giving up. Someone else can have the fun of finding these near impossible cards. The missing cards are the following: 13, 14, 29, 32-Musial, 40, 46-Campy, 51, 63, 78, 86, 92-Hodges, 97-Mathews, 112, 121-Yogi, 127, 133, 135, 143, 144, 156, 160To sort of makeup for it, I will throw in 17 additional 53 Bowmans that I have that are duplicates of ones in the set. No big names but the commons still go from $30-75 a piece!Most of the cards are in the VG-Ex range, but t are a few ExMT and about 15-20 NrMT to NrMT+ cards. The only really below VG card in the lot is 134 Pesky, it is a little rough, but the color is so good on these cards, in the topload it does not even look that bad.The key cards grade as follows:1 Williams ExMT9 Rizzuto VG, only because it has some kind of residue on it, looks like paint overspray, it might clean off, I never tried10 Ashburn VG-Ex18 Fox Ex33 Reese Ex44 Bauer, Berra, Mantle VG59 Mantle VG-Ex65 Roberts VG+68 Reynolds VG81 Slaughter Ex-93 Martin, Rizzuto Ex-99 Spahn VG-Ex101 Red Schoendienst VG-Ex114 Feller VG, tape stain, still sticky, if it comes off, Ex card117 Snider VG, tape stain, still sticky, if it comes off, Ex/MT card118 Martin VG124 Dressen VG-Ex146 Wynn VG153 Ford VG+I will gladly send you photos of any cards you request. I will start the auction at a ridiculous price of $2500, but know it is worth 2-3 times that much at least. Look for my other auctions of vintage cards. Cards will be shipped Priority mail and will be stored in individual top loads. A little heavier, but better protection for your cards. Priority, insured shipping is $30, unless you use the buy it now option, in that case shipping is free.
