THIS MODEL IS OUT OF PRODUCTION Of all the great models Danbury Mint has delivered, this must be considered the finest. T are so many details to describe about this model, it would take more room than eBay allows. Allow me to list just some, beginning with the super fine metallic Terrace Green paint. No other color could so perfectly fit this car. It is deep, glossy and perfect and really accentuates the real wood veneer inlays and the green and tan interior. You’ve seen the perfect door hinges, but now you have to behold the hood and tailgate hinges … true works of miniature art. The lift-up rear window actually uses piston style supports just like the real car. The rear seats fold, the engine has fuel lines, wiring, plumbing and labels. It even has a windshield washer bottle. Even the fuel door opens. The chassis is highly detailed and inside, the dashboard gauges are actually readable. T is even a dashboard traffic light viewer, an option on many ‘50’s autos. Add to it all, the roof mounted antenna, driver’s spotlight and gorgeous wire wheels and you have just a partial appreciation of this car. This car is in MINT CONDITION and probably was never displayed . It com es packed in the Styrofoam Liner and Outer Box. Paperwork includes the Certificate of Title and Care and Use Instructions.
