RCA Victor Turntable Record Changer Model RV 274746 RP 205C3 from 1953 RCA Victor New Orthophonic Console. Model Magic Eye SHF-3. I carefully removed this record changer from a console that was damaged in transit. I purchased this console for my own use and display in my collection. During the move to my house it suffered damage to the speakers, and console front so I couldn't test it for sound, but the selector switch turns the motor on,spins the platter, arm swings over on the reject cycle. By rotating the switch, all speeds seem to operate correctly. The mahoghany console is damaged too bad to fix, so I'm parting it out. Woofers are in the trash because the small bakelite wiring bracket and harness pulled out of the voice coil. The changer and receiver survived and really look good, check the pictures! This is one rare turntable. (I have the matching 13 tube amplifier receiver listed seperately.) It will most likely need a new needle or cartridge or both. That's the first thing I do when I get a new turntable in my collection because my records are too valuable to replace. These turntables are hard to come by in this condition, especially with the correct 45 RPM spindle. I will add an aditional packing charge of $5.00 for supplies to insure that it gets to you in the same condition as you see it As with any vintage electronic items, especially this being over 50 years old, please note that it is sold as is. Bid with confidence and please check my feedbacks. Search words..RCA Victor Zenith Emerson Decca Crosley Philco Motorola Magnavox Admiral Columbia Tube Amplifier 45 RPM Thanks to a sharp RCA collector, I found out that this is a 1957 Model, and that was verified by the numbers stamped on the underside of the turntable and receiver as well. For a complete verification of when it was built along with the reciever, please read the email sent by Doug(45victrola). I have it posted in my other auction which is for the matching receiver amplifier. Thanks Doug!
