This auction presents the lovely Wedgwood ROYAL BLUE Jasperware TEA SET commemorating the Coronation of HRH Queen Elizabeth II in 1953. The set includes the squat TEA POT with high relief silhouettes of the Queen and Prince Philip. It measures 3 3/4" high, 5 1/4" to the top of the finial, 9" from handle to spout and 3 1/2" at the base. The CREAMER and the Covered SUGAR BOWL are the 146 shape. They have the Royal Crest of Great Britain and the Queen's monogram (?) in relief. The Creamer is 2 1/2" high and the Sugar is 3 3/4" to the finial. The bottom of each piece (see photo) is ink-stamped with the LIMITED EDITION information on the Commemorative set and the incised WEDGWOOD marks. This impressive set is in excellent estate condition with no damage of any kind. It will be a worthy addition to any collection and a very special Holiday gift!
