1954 Fender Champion Lap Steel Electric ! This one's complete & all original. Really nice shape, body has no lifting or chipping of pearloid & pickup(54 Telecaster is electrically identical,same size too, but no tabs to mount), pots & all hardware(knobs,keys,bridge, jackplate) original, only the plastic tuner buttons are non stock. No pitting on chrome & body unmolested. Take a look at control pocket (in body), t's a 3" piece of masking tape marked:"4-29-54" &signed "Virginia"! Plays great, has since been strung with appropriate(heavy) electric strings. Sounds like a Telecaster! Very nice little piece of Fender History. Please email me with any questions prior to bidding. .
