This is a very nice 1950s Mallard Duck TV lamp and planter. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Marked on the bottom Lane & Co. Van Nuys, Calif. 1954-195? (can't read the last number) and 341. It is 14" high and the base is about 14" long and 6" wide. The colors are bright and vivid and yes it works. The socket and cord I believe to be original. This is the way we bought it from an elderly lady who has to down size. This is one of the nicest TV lamp/planters I have come across.
