VINTAGE 1954 VOGUE GINNY DOLL OUTFIT MY TINY MISS # 243 Offered for your consideration is a darling little vintage Ginny doll rose pink outfit from the 1954 My Tiny Miss series. A picture of the outfit is shown on page 12 7 of the purple Collector's Encyclopedia of Vogue Dolls, Second Edition by Izen and Stover. The outfit offered here is in excellent condition and displays very well. The dress in particular is in mint condition. I am confident that this outfit has not been laundered. The fabric is still crisp with excellent body to it, and the embossed texture in the dress fabric is still well-defined. The hook and eye are secure with no rust. Otherwise, there are no holes, tears, stains or odors. The dress is tagged with a folded, but crisp and shiny, Medford tag. The matching bloomers are clean and intact with no holes, tears, stains or odors. The elastic at the waist has been replaced so it is strong and snug. The elastic at the leg openings was somewhat stretched so I hand stitched the leg elastic all around with elastic thread to make the elastic snug. The listing also includes a nice pair of vintage pink rayon socks with no holes, runs or stains and a nice pair of vintage white vinyl shoes marked Ginny on flat soles with buttons and buttonholes that are intact and secure. The vinyl Ginny shoes are the correct shoes for this outfit with flat soles that were only made in 1954. Also included in the l isting is the lace trimmed rosy re d straw hat that goes w ith this outfit. I t is intact with original chin elastic. The elastic still holds well but has no flexibility, so I will also include a replacement chin strap to use if you prefer. The outfit offered here is being modeled by a 1954 PLW Ginny doll in a couple of the pictures so you can get a better idea of how really nice this outfit is. The doll is just modeling the outfit for you. The doll and doll stand are not included in this listing. This lovely outfit is offered at an attractive Buy-It-Now price. Payment is by PayPal only.
